Pretty toxic if no one is interested. Look at how many complete losers there are still playing in pro baseball with history of s***** behavior (in all sports for that matter). If an organization thinks you're good enough to help them win on the field they'll overlook almost any past transgression. Either Puig just isn't any good anymore, or he truly is a Grade A piece of s*** person.

I don't have a problem with 6 games per se. Hell... Give him 30 games. My issue is, be consistent. If you're gonna give Spezza 6 games, or 100 games, then you need to be consistent across the board. You can't be handing out lesser penalties for worse acts. Spezza should've just gone over and started chewing on Pionk like he was a roast instead. Would've only gotten 5 games.

Sandin out for 2-3 weeks (knee). Looked like it could've been much worse. Marner out for 3-4 weeks (shoulder). Didn't think it was that bad.

Those are exceptions to the rule. If you're a betting man, as a general rule, the math says that a bad body is a significant detriment. Could Kirk become a star? Sure. But it will be tougher for him to become one (and stay healthy) if his physical stature remains similar. -
