    Getting pitched around is a good thing for your team. Intentional walk is almost always retarded. BUT obviously Thole shouldnt hit 5th just to get walks for EE as then youre giving Thole more atbats than someone else.

    The hilarious thing is that getting pitched around increases the players value. No batter is better than a walk.

    Hoffman has good stuff and had good college numbers. He just hasn't translated well yet to MiLB. ERA doesnt mean much (though MiLB ERA and BABIP have a bit more staying power than MLB ERA and BABIP).
