  1. Because he deserves it and limit innings a bit I guess.
  2. Hutch to start Sunday.
  3. Bello suspended 80 games.
  4. Three games. And ya its pretty barren after 7 or 8 that it could really be anyone.
  5. So Perdomo is definitely top 10 in our org now after his start I think.
  6. Do you actually mean "good f***ing shape"?
  7. Tarasenko Stamkos Gaudreau Voracek Palmieri Kane Turris Little Atkinson Giordano Varly Lehtonen Howard And last 2 spots down to Korpisalo, J Staal, Brodie, and Backlund. If you have any interest in one of these guys let me know. I also have Russell and Martinez on the cusp.
  8. When it's not a pitcher, the difference is very very small. Though Goins is hitting like a pitcher at the moment...
  9. Only Syndergaard has a higher SwStr% than Pomeranz through 3 starts.
  10. He does rake against L. vs. L: 115 wRC+ in 340 PA in MLB 1.011 OPS in 330 PA in MiLB (since 2011) vs R: 77 wRC+ in 491 PA in MLB .746 OPS in 928 PA in MiLB (since 2011)
  11. He was much better against L in the minors (SSS) but it might cancel out.
  12. We don't need either since Smoak is a switch hitter.
  13. Steamer thinks so (FIP and WAR/200).
  14. Well Hutch was sacrificed last year. Maybe we can sacrifice Goins.
  15. We live or die with Sanchez, Estrada, and Dickey having low ERAs.
  16. His MLB stats are better than his minor league.
  17. Nothing is wrong with GB's. The problem is less K's.
  18. That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.
  19. Pitchers that allow more contact are subject to more BABIP variation, but variation is not a "bad" thing. The variation could be equally as good as it could be bad. There is no "right" way either. Clayton Kershaw is usually near the bottom of Zone Swinging percent (highest %).
  20. They are more random and less skill based. Sanchez is starting to get to the point where they may be a skill however. Getting a swing is much better though, since usually to strike someone out you have to throw out of the zone.
