    I was just watching some Vlad 'highlights' from last year, man he looked awful and not just his weight. He just continuously smashed s*** into the ground all throughout the year even as he dropped some weight as the season progressed, not to mention his defensive capabilities at first and just overall 'baseball iq' was straight up terrible. It's so frustrating as you can see the talent in terms of raw power and plate discipline are there and probably as good as anyone in baseball. Hopefully 2021 he really takes a step forward and fixes his launch angle, and it is good to see that hes taking his weight more seriously.

    to me, outside of 2019 the bats are pretty much identical. Simmons seems to be the much better defender, but you're right theres no chance he'd move off short.
