  1. I think his best catch might have been the one on Sano. Those are definitely the top 3 though.
  2. That Latroy Hawkins footage of AA getting mega-blasted with beers in the centre of the room was amazing.
  3. Lets all be happy tonight folks. How the heck are people being banned/getting themselves banned on our clinch night?
  4. Agreed. f*** off Barry Davis. This has got to be annoying for Price.
  5. someone send this jackass an email with a link to this site. Specifically the link to the Orioles Hangout Suxxxxxxxx thread
  6. A buddy of mine saw him out boozing at 2:30 am the night before his massive HR vs the Yankees. Didn't affect him I guess.

  9. What's your ideal markup?
  10. Best IMO is to get a 20 game voucher pack. That way you have the option to change # of seats per game. This year I bought one, 4 seats for 5 of the most premium games. I took the family to 3 of the games, sold the other 2 games easily to guys at work, and am now reaping the benefits of the playoff tickets. I used to buy flexpacks, but about 5 years ago I switched to voucher packs for the added flexibility in terms of number of seats and have not looked back.
  11. I agree. Just checked Leafs ticket prices, over $150 to sit in the upper deck to watch the garbage Leafs in a regular season game, and up to $800 to sit in the platinum's. Now thats INSANE.
  12. It all depends on a persons financial situation. $200 is a lot of money to some people, and not a lot to others. 15 years ago when I was 20 and in university I'd be right there with you, I couldn't afford to go. But I can now, and I've been waiting 23 years for this - so I would have no problem paying $200 for the worst seat in the house just for the experience and to say I was there. There are a lot of people like you but there are also a lot of people like me. Thats why the prices will stay pretty high I think. canadiansportsjunkie, I think they prices might come down a bit over the next few days, but they might go back up again based on the factors I mentioned a few posts up. If $180 isn't life changing money, why not? You'd be going to a playoff game and I can't see how you would come to regret it. Its not like these tickets are about to be free.
  13. I agree that today has been a great day to sell with all the hype and people panicking. But I don't think tickets are all of a sudden going to get a lot cheaper. Consider: A lot of people are waiting to buy until they see what time the game will be (4:00 vs 7:00) and whether or not they'll need to take time off work or not to make it. Also the Jays haven't technically clinched yet so nothing is guaranteed. Theres a bunch of people waiting until they clinch, and who wants to fork out $500 or $1000 when they don't know which game works better for them yet? I think you will see another huge surge the day the Jays clinch a playoff spot. An even bigger surge the day they clinch the division. And then the biggest surge of all on the day they actually release the tickets with dates/times and everyone is able to verify they can actually attend the game. Don't forget that right now no one is able to make their tickets available for instant download. As soon as that becomes available it makes the tickets more appealing as well.
  14. Thx....just sold a second pair of 500s for $210 us each...woo. I originally had em listed higher but figured if I made mine some of the lowest in my section they would sell fast
  15. Update: Just sold my first pair on stubhub. Section 513. I got $171 each in US. Face value $100, I get $442 canadian...4.4 times face value.
  16. My buddy booked a room for WC game in case it happens. He can cancel if it doesn't. Its $1000 for the night.
  17. Just listed them a few minutes ago. If you want I can post what they sell for? I don't want to have everyone jumping on me though.
  18. You don't have to receive your tickets to list them. I haven't received mine yet, but I am listed.
  19. maybe. That depends how many people are desperate right now. If I hadn't bought strips, I was prepared to lay down $500 CDN for 2 tickets for the worst seat in the house to an ALDS game. Just to get in the door. There are probably lots like me. I'm pretty confident I'll be quadrupling my 500 level seats.
  20. jaysblue, I'm just glad you got tickets. They are singles right? Probably best that way.
  21. Lowest ticket price on stubhub for game 1 right now is 190 US, a massive increase in 1 day. The cheap seats all sold. A few days ago there were a few available in the low 100's $US and ECJF was brimming with confidence that he'd get his for under 100 CDN when the time came. Things aren't looking good for him at all now unless he was one of the lucky ones today...
  22. Everything is playing out according to what I figured so far. Glad to see that some of you got tickets.
  23. WTF is going on with these ridiculous swings the last few games? Holy f*** JD. Last night it was Edwin
  24. I hate to repost this yet again, but I sold 4 tickets in 8th row of section 129 to last Sundays game vs Boston on stubhub for over $600 CDN. These tickets cost me $48.50 each in a flex pack, $194 total. I tripled my money, getting $579 AFTER stubhub took their cut. I get that most of you guys wouldn't do this, but some people will pay a premium, and the games are sold out. Pretty tough to get 4 tickets together which is what helped me. FWIW I sold my tickets about 2 weeks in advance of the game so it wasn't last minute, I'm sure there were some last minute deals available, as there always are. I'd personally have no problem paying $100 a seat to be at tonights game in a nice seat. Its an amazing atmosphere and worth it. Glad to hear the seller got $220.
