  1. Canadian dollars? Good luck with that. I really hope you get to see a game for that price on the secondary market, but I highly doubt it.
  2. You will if you have to. Won't you? If thats the cost then thats the cost. Most of us have been waiting our entire lives for this and would gladly fork out $250 for a ticket. I know I would. Thankfully, I won't have to since I have tickets at face value. But if I couldn't get them, I would have gladly paid $250 to go to a game. f***, thousands of Leafs fans pay that every regular season game to see a dogshit team.
  3. C.C. at the gun range:
  4. CC is just big boned
  5. yep. Its a great gamble really. He'll make the money he's spent on the 2016 season tickets back this year in the playoffs. All of next year will be pure profit and it has the potential to be VERY lucrative. Hop on the train now fellas, it could be very worth your while.
  6. Guys the reason I went with 221 instead of 500 level is that even in s***** games like Monday night vs Tampa they will likely sell for the season ticket face value. I am actually going to call back in January and try to upgrade to TD Comfort Zone seating (1 section over). In January this year's season ticket holders who don't renew will see the release of their seats and there will be more available likely. Its $750 more per seat but those puppies are usually sold out all season, so the stubhub market is very good for them. I figure with my 4 playoff tickets I have, if the Jays make the World Series and it goes 7 games I might make $10,000 in profit. I might make a furthur $5,000 in profit next year (my season tickets are $56 face value - if Jays make it to WS and field a competitive team next year I should be able to average $80 a ticket for them all season - more for Yankees/Red Sox, less for the Rays, etc)
  7. I think you will be able to get $10-12 for most mid week games since you are in row 5. that will cover your cost. Might be a few midweek games against dogs where they don't get picked up. But you'd likely make double your money vs Red Sox and Yankees. If the Jays are as good next year as they are this year then you will make a killing in August/September. And if the Jays win the World Series this year? You'll make a killing all season likely!
  8. Yes but as of right now all of the seats in front are already held by season ticket holders and they get first crack at renewing their seats come end of season. I can potentially move up into the first couple rows in January after some people either don't renew or move to a different section.
  9. Well fellas, I purchased 2 season tickets for section 221 row 5 today for next year. Great seats one section over from TD Comfort Zone. Expensive but they I should be able to sell them next year for what I paid for them or more. And then I was allowed to purchase 2 more seats for the playoffs. Right behind home plate, section 525 row 7. I also have 2 tickets for Section 239 LF foul pole. BTW I could have bought playoff seats in section 124 if I wanted...the guy I talked to on the phone said there were seats left in every price range. I just didn't want to commit to that much money.
  10. the monster is really f***ing us over this series. Their OF have the angles figured out, ours don't. Their OF are turning our doubles into singles. We aren't able to do the same to them.
  11. Martin is f***ing killing my fantasy team right now. f***! He's in the .230's now...brutal
  12. The reason I am looking to do the full season is that I think I could make a bunch of money. E.g. if I had bought seats in section 114 first 10 rows this year ($41 cost for season ticket holders) those puppies are selling for triple face value on stubhub the entire month of September. And I really can't see taking a bath on those seats even midweek early season games they still sell for season ticket face cost, which is less than regular face.
  13. I am thinking of buying season tickets for next year even though I only plan on going to about 5-10 games. I figure I can sell the tickets for slightly more than I paid for them on stubhub, and in the end get cheaper and better seats for the games I go to, as well as first crack at playoff tickets should they make it in 2016. Do any of you have season tickets? If so, have any of you ever had issues selling your tickets on stubhub? Do the Jays do anything to prevent season ticket holders from doing this? Thanks.
  14. Jays are really being f***ed over by the monster today, which usually its the other way around
  15. Agreed, but more years with Delgado, which is why I said Delgado for now, but Joey may catch him
  16. His 4th home run of that 4 home run day was almost off the scoreboard. Unreal.
  17. Right now: 1. Delgado 2. Bats When the dust settles, probably Bats. If there was one at bat to be taken, I want Carlos in his prime up there. He was a beast and some of you are forgetting that.
  18. Rickey. Don't forget about him, he's right there too
  19. He'll be level of excellence if he retires tomorrow. He's "the guy" from this current era, plus he's been a better hitter than George Bell was and he's there. IMO Halladay and Bautista will join the level.
  20. Thanks that's it! Didn't realize how old the song was. I can't seem to find an exact version online though.
