The game of baseball with it's 162 game schedule is specifically designed to make a rational person experience completely irrational highs and lows somewhat like a drug user. A typical fan that succumbs to this affect will experience euphoria, existential dread and self-loathing, often during a 3 or 4 game series vs any AL East opponent. The affects of this psychosis is often seen in multiple negative posts on random message boards and irrational calls for the termination of contracts of said baseball clubs management. At least that's how it is for me anyhoo...

Dear Blue Jays, f*** you. SMC. signed Gerrit Cole Completely owned...lol. Definitely saw that one coming. The guy is good and we pissed him off. There was no-doubt he was going to make a couple of "statement" starts against us with our playoffs on the line.

The front office said last year during the off-season that they wanted to put a team together that was more run prevention and closing out games oriented. That type of roster is going to rely on more small-ball production and "clutch" hitting. That is the s*** that wins world series but it is a roll-of-the-dice and we all know it and have seen it before. Once you make it to the off-season it is a flip of the coin whether you make it past each round because that's what SSS is about and because baseball. f***ing baseball people....you guys all know this.

This Spring training had many people wondering about the Kikuchi v White battle for the 5th roster spot. Kikuchi is having an amazing bounce-back year. White has really looked good over his last few starts in AAA, there is a real chance he is fixed and will battle for a SP spot next year. What a treat it would be to have Manoah/Kikuchi/White all looking good enough to deserve a roster spot with Tiedemann coming up as well?

Yah, just pray we don't see "early season" Belt when he comes back. That was hard to watch.

That is the way I think of it as well. That slot value should work out to be in the $460-$500 thousand range I think.

I don't have a strong opinion on him on the team to be honest but he is a guy I can root for. I do think that in 10 years after his career is over I would like him on the coaching staff. He is a really smart ball player.

AA season is ending. I think they are just moving him up to AAA to get a few more innings in since he lost time due to injury. Wouldn't surprise me if he went to Fall ball as well. Dude has elite talent. There is nothing in his performance so far to suggest he isn't what the Jays project him to be. He is really young, give him time.

This series was just...lifeless. A bunch of dudes staring at each other in the dugout after loss after loss after loss. No leaders. No one willing to eat it and take the loss and say "get you're s*** together" to the team. The "core" of this team is soft and that includes Atkins and Schneider and a lot of the managers. This team has given up on each other because the players that are supposed to be the core, that guys like Belt and KK were told will lead the team to the promised land, just don't show up when it counts. Jay's management team sold a lot of players this year that the teams "young core" would take the next step. It didn't happen. Now the Jays are left in an abyss when it comes to sell or buy. No one could have predicted this team to s*** the f***ing bed as bad offensively as it has. Worse than recent years yes, this bad?... It really sucks to be a fan of the team for so long, track the players coming up through the system, think that there is a plan and that the team might have success in the future...and then just watch them burn their own bridges and get booed out of their own f***ing stadium. Nice work Jays

Nice that Manoah will be able to get to know the guy that will be passing on the depth chart this weekend.

I want the team to win tomorrow just so I can see if Vladdy comes out with his dumb ass ice bath after the game. Having the dip-s*** come out and splash someone would be the ultimate "read-the-f***ing-room!" moment for him. I honestly think some of the players really don't like each other after watching their body-language during some of these losses (and some of the wins tbh).
