  1. Toronto is very much an advanced enough market that they would understand trading high end talent off their roster for a mixture of NOW pieces and prospects. We saw Crime dog and Fernandez dealt for Alomar and Carter and yah there was some bitching but it played out fine. I think the market almost expects a big trade to compensate for inefficiencies on the roster and to revitalize the prospect pool. Time to figure out who they need to cut bait on and give a couple of AAA guys a shot at producing.
  2. Turner for me today please
  3. Clement has such a good eye. Clutch hit
  4. wtf Jay's...I look away for 2 minutes to read comments about the end of the Leafs game and you do this?
  5. I'll take Vlad today Dylan. Thanks
  6. Francis shaved his head? Wonder why.
  7. 92 pitches and no walks from Manoah today? wut?

  9. I will go with Turner
  10. Jano for Tuesday
  11. Wouldn't surprise me if next off-season he develops a knuckle-ball and pitches until he is 50. Such a competitor. Just hates losing. I imagine his uncensored conversations with coaches and catchers would be pretty colourful.
  12. Great interview from Bassitt post-game. He is just a straight up ball player and sees what everyone is going through. Would not surprise me in the least to see him as a manager/executive once his career is over.
  13. Also, there should be no "patient, let's see what happens. When a new troll comes out of the ether and say the same crap from banned accounts before them Mainstay dudes on this site hate all the bogus accounts that pile on them. Let's decide on what to do with trolls once and for all. Put me in charge. I am actually calm and centered when deciphering others motivations.
  14. This issue may be too much of a "hot button " topic on here? If Mods decide that certain topics and certain massaging should be monitored (and I 100% agree that it should), then posters that exceed boundaries the mods put in place SHOULD be permabanned if necessary and temporary banned if the greater good thinks they may offer useful discussion regarding the Blue Jays.
  15. I would like to have a stickied thread with an up to date listing of who got banned, how long the ban is for, and why they got banned. I don't mean a bunch of legalize or too much detail. Just who pushed their luck or was an obvious troll account etc. Some snippets of content would be appreciated so others could watch for new accounts exhibiting similar behavior. I am glad we are seeing some of the "always a troll" accounts get the red highlight quickly. Keeyp up the yeoman work mods! Thank you!
  16. Vlad won't change his hitting approach regardless of his lack of production...uh, ok?... shushes the crowd while h8s team is getting beat down... constantly has bats that are about his stats instead of team results (his pitcher has a rough inning, he is out within a pitch or two) No concept if moving runners with zero or one out... constantly swings like he is going to get a 6 run home-run. Maybe he has his dad's talent, but he clearly has grown up a fair weather child. No concept of earning what he has or respecting his teammates that had to fight for what they earned. If he played for another team our fan base would pile on his amateur antics.
  17. The Jays did singularly attempt to MAJORLY boost the team this off season if all is to believed. The problem as I see it is that they kinda had a mushy outline on the rest of their targets and didn't have a sense of what value they would off vs what salary they were going to get paid. If I had to guess (which I of course do need to guess), I would say they listened to much to the agents and not enough to the media reports and insider info
  18. Well that was...unexpected. Glad I watched to the end. All the current starters are ballsy AF. Berrios had such a good start. Kind of get the Jack Morris mentality from him, just going to go out there and rubber arm it if necessary to give the team a chance to win. Total bull dog. Really love Tuner's game. His AB's are as advertised. Hope he can rub off on some of the "un-named" players that need to work the count more and have discipline. 6 games in and it's already a f***ing rollercoaster of a season. Could be worse, we could be 1-5 like the Astro's?
  19. The stuff was good but they were all over him in the early innings. Maybe he was tipping pitches?
  20. The Brandon Belt that is still unsigned? Not that he would be better but my god this is hard to watch.
  21. April 1 Vladdy -1 Point - Dylan, Angrioter Turner - 2 Points - Springer - 3 Points - jaysblue Varsho - 3 Points - Abomination Kirk - 4 Points - wilko Biggio - 5 Points - Omar, WryNGinger Kiner-Falefa - 7 Points Kiermaier - 7 Points - mphenhef Clement - 8 Points - Spanky The Bench (Any PH): 10 Points
  22. Permaban... chicken shits... The trolls come out again with a bunch of new accounts. Plus the usual dipshits. I honestly don't get it? This Jays team seems...I dunno, divided? The type of players that they keep bringing in and the type of players that are "home grown" seem very different. My background is upper level cooperate management and my opinion is this team has multiple agendas. From the outside it feels like the moved out a lot of Vlad people and brought in a lot of Bo people.
  23. Bichette for Saturday
  24. March 29 Vladdy - 1 Point - P2F Bichette - 2 Points Turner - 2 Points Springer - 3 Points Varsho - 3 Points - Dylan Kirk - 4 Points - Angrioter Biggio - 5 Points Kiner-Falefa - 7 Points Kiermaier - 7 Points - LTBF, WryNGinger The Bench (Any PH): 10 Points
