    And b/c their pitchers have the same s*** in their arms. Perhaps they just aren't as blatant with the application as Buchholz is. So greasy.

From what I read, it's to give you better grip. I'd rather pitchers have a good grip when throwing 90+ MPH. It's funny watching the pitchers put on sunscreen for the night games... Pineda had pine tar...he's dumn because you can visually see it.

    Apparently he ditched the leg kick at the end of spring training. Wish he'd bring it back. His toe tap looks awkward.

    Likely because he's a zero vs. LHP.

    Why the f*** would a platoon right fielder who's a 2.5-3.5 WAR player get $100M? He's awful vs. LHP and a career 105 wRC+ Swisher was arguably better than Reddick when the Indian's signed him...a much better hitter.

    I wonder if he couldn't do as much cardio due to the Achilles injury.

    If Venditte needs Tommy John surgery on one of his elbows, could he conceivably come back after a few months (to a point where the elbow is stable enough to catch the ball) and pitch solely with his other arm while he rehabs the injured elbow? That would be pretty cool. Most likely he'd have to blow out his right elbow and come back as a LOOGY.

    It appears Storen tinkers with his mechanics a lot. I remember watching videos of his leg drive and he used little to no leg kick at all. This season, I see a high leg kick and I wondered what's up. After a little youtubin' I see a video uploaded in 2011 he had the high leg kick and no leg kick in video uploaded 2012 (for the same company). high leg kick - low leg kick - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZKvJY6gDfg Here's another article on some significant mechanical changes he made - https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/nationals-journal/wp/2013/11/22/inside-drew-storens-turnaround/ I don't know exactly what this means (possibly nothing), but I'm a tad worried that what we see is what we're going to get.

    Last year Cecil made a slight mechanical adjustment after being taken out of the closers role. Maybe he needs more adjusting...

    Why? Outside of his 2014 season....which certainly looks like an outliner, Martin is only a 105-115 wRC+ hitter
