    Enough with that s***. Shatkins already said Goins was kept because he had value on the trade market (and Upton didn't). Salty's bat actually isn't terrible for a backup catcher. It's the catching part that he struggles with.

    I can't say I blame Gibby. We obviously need to shake things up and Carrera did that atop the lineup at times last year. The failure will be running him out there repeated if/when this attempt to spark the offense fails.

    From Rotoworld - NSFW Blue Jays 3B prospect Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. went 2-for-6 with a homer on Wednesday for Low-A Lansing. It's the second homer of the year for the son of future HOF Vladimir Guerrero. Simply put, Guerrero is too advanced with the bat to be at the lowest full-season level right now. He's crushing Midwest League pitching, and he's showing something his dad never did: plate discipline. You won't see him in the MLB for a couple of years, but his upside is higher than any corner infielder in baseball. You should already have him on your deep dynasty league roster.

    I was much more excited about this last week. This f***ing start makes me want to mute all things Blue Jays for a few weeks.

    Believe it or not - we do that too. Blue Mountain is nearby too (although the GTA yahoos take that over on weekends too). The Georgian Triangle is a pretty amazing place to live to be honest - in all 4 seasons. I haven't been to Beach 1 in Wasaga (the main end) in probably 10 years now. It's a f***ing s*** hole. That said, we just completed a Master Plan study to actually create a proper Main Street with an event square, new arena, etc. - all of which includes significant improvements to the main drag. I'm hopeful that over the next 10-15 years they can transform it into something good - like Blue Mountain has done.

    I don't know if it's that simple. 1. How much longer will he be super-elite? 2. The longer you keep him, the lower his trade value is. Good thing we have a strong front office in place to make these difficult decisions.
