  1. I was asked if I wanted a fake nut inserted so my sack was still balanced. I asked him to insert 2 fake ones so I could be like the chick with 3 boobs in Total Recall. He declined, so I didn't get the insert. I then f***ed his mom to assert dominance and show him I'm still a man - no matter how many nuts I have.
  2. ah - that's actually true. SSS then Read the articles. It's not as cut and dry as you think - unless of course you also believe god is real.
  3. https://www.beyondtheboxscore.com/2015/5/19/8614817/lineup-protection-myth-reality-exists https://blogs.fangraphs.com/players-view-does-lineup-protection-exist/ There's a couple of articles on it. I like this quote - "Lineup protection may or may not exist. Studies suggest it doesn’t, at least not statistically, but many within the game insist it does." I should trust that it exists because pitchers say it matters to them. However, the statistics suggest it doesn't actually have a major impact. Perhaps perception isn't reality. I don't think anyone should be heavy on one side of this discussion. Suggesting "of course it does - these pitchers say it does, so it must" doesn't mean a lot to me as a lot of people also tell me that God exists.
  4. I know that seems intuitive, but I believe there are studies that show this isn't true. Cherry picking, but Soto didn't suddenly get more to hit in SD this year after moving from a team with no hitters, to a team with a solid lineup.
  5. Joc Pederson, Eddie Rosario, Jorge Solar from 2021. I never understood connorps theory on this.
  6. Protection matters does it?
  7. I'm done with kids anyway, so sounds like no downside.
  8. I lost a nut to cancer a few years ago. My T levels are borderline low. Sounds like I should start taking T so I feel like a million bucks again! There are side effects though I believe.
  9. Seems to be enough stories out there that the Jays are offering up money at least...
  10. It's being reported that Trea Turner took less money to go to Philly. Padres offered more.
  11. Is Christian Watson as future HOFer?
  12. I guess that's true. I think you really have to believe in the arm and his stuff to go 3/$45M.
  13. Let's hope for this. But if he wants a pillow deal, the AL East is the wrong place to be.
  14. Heaney's career xFIP is better than Manoah and Berrios. Just need him to stay healthy. 3 years $35M
  15. Bryan Reynolds went from 98 percentile in "Outs Above Average" to the dreaded 6 percentile last year. What happened?
  16. I'm not sure Scherz or Verlander are any more likely to die on the mound than Manoah and Gausman are. These 2 are horses.
  17. If there are voters who don't think he should get in on results and performance - we need new voters. You can debate WAR all you want, but he's 20th all time for a pitcher so there's no question he's a HOFer by results. Verlander is still behind him in career WAR....let that one sink in as I suspect we all believe Verlander is a surefire 1st ballot HOF pitcher.
  18. Your expectations are too high. If Kikuchi and White are your 6th and 7th starters, you're in good shape man.
  19. Ray Davis is trying to keep up with Elon Musk as the person who wastes the most money.
  20. The DeGrom deal is likely to provide the highest cost per start in MLB history....and still could provide surplus value. That's insane
  21. I think I much prefer Sidal or Ben Wagner to Buck or Tabby.
  22. Dodgers signed Shelby Miller, 1 year $1.5M Someone on here really wanted him. I'm surprised he got a guaranteed deal from LA.
  23. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/alek-manoahs-steamer-projection-is-a-feature-not-a-bug/
  24. Nootbar + Conforto + Senga = World Series? A bench with Espinal, Gurriel and Biggio has to be one of the deepest in recent memory. That's what a winning team needs!
