Diamondbacks just designated MadBum for assignment. Sick of his s***** play and constant drama I assume. What a horrible signing this became for the Diamondbacks. 5 years $85M (in 2020) and he gave them 2 WAR before being released.

I don't know how quickly the number stabilize, but Richards savant page is as RED as it's ever been. I think the Jays will hold onto all of them as long as they can (keeping Pearson in AAA), but at some point, they may need to make that tough call with Bass and I wouldn't be surprised if it's Bass that goes and not Richards. -
What is Pearson's Stuff+ in AAA? Is there a website to find all this s***? Why isn't it on Fangraphs yet FFS?

Kershaw is on a whole different level - maybe 3 more levels. Career ERA < 2.50, Career FIP of 2.76, Career xFIP of 2.97 and his performance just doesn't change....it's just the injuries that reduce the number of innings he pitches. It's remarkable how the performance hasn't dipped.

I agree with this. Cutting Belt just gives more AB's to Lukes and Biggio and honestly, I'd rather stick with Belt given those options. The f***ing guy can't just be done can he? I guess he can, but f***.

Sorry - to clarify, I agree that the prospects we got from the Mets were underwhelming, but when we paired that with the Ryu signing (who at the time was better than Stro and cost the same) - I think most thought it was a great decision to move Stro before he became a FA and replace him with Ryu, plus the prospects.

I certainly understand this happens, but man do I struggle with it. If someone invites me to the baseball game - I want to watch the f***ing game. If you want to talk business, let's go out for dinner.

I've heard 500 level right behind home plate (say first 5 rows) is a really cool and good view. I want to try that out soon. I also love the 200 level in general - almost from any location in the ball park. Shorter lines for food/washrooms too. 200 Level right behind home plate is probably my favourite seat in the house. I think the 100 level between the edge of the infield and the outfield are the worst seats in the house. Those are the seats I wouldn't sit in, even if the tickets were free (200 level in those locations are better, but still not a place I want to be). I've always enjoyed 100 and 200 level outfield seats. Good value for me to take my family of 5 to.

A lot of jays prospects have to be honest. Most are very SSS, but slow starts suck.

The bottom line doesn't give a f*** about that. Better bottom line could mean more salary budget, which could mean a better team. I mean even the changes in the OF aren't really intended for true baseball fans. Those are catering to casual fans who want to come drink more, hang out with friends and catch a little bit of baseball. I fully suspect the marketing studies suggest you need to have a ton of diversity within your options to optimize who buys tickets and that's what they seem to be going for.

The worst part is that you've formed an opinion about how Anthony should have acted, even though he wasn't even on the flight. And for f*** sakes, if you spill a few kernels on the floor at the movie theatre, it is completely reasonable to just leave them there. Finally - I'm all for teaching kids to clean up after themselves, but let's not forget that those kids may have been up very early, or spent hours upon hours standing in line before having to try and sit quietly on an airplane. That's going to make it a f***TON more difficult to use this as a learning experience for them to cleanup after themselves. This wasn't a typical Thursday afternoon where the kid spilt their snack right after nap time. -
