  1. Ok pleeeeze at least 1 needs to come home here
  2. Need to manufacture some here, should have had atleast one more from either Goins double or 1st and 2nd nobody out.
  3. If you are going to ask Revere to bunt and pull the 3b in, why isn't Goins trying to steal third at the same time?
  4. Who cares, he's saving runs. In innings he leads off, would be nice if he could somehow get on base. Would like to see him hit 8th instead of 9th. Game 5 reminded us how important good D is.
  5. What did Martin do? Question his strike zone?
  6. Well atleast the Royals already showed their colours in the regular season, Jays lockerroom meeting should cover it. Also, hope the umps expect it and get it right this time.
  7. Royals/Jays Mets/Cubs Doesn't get better than that, with or w/o prop bets. O/U prolly at 5 for the Jays series lol
  8. It's so annoying because it's so effective. Royals did it all playoffs last year...lead off single is like a guaranteed run.
  9. Yeah he threw out someone at 3rd
  10. There does seem to be a strange coincidence that it happened with a guy on third, but still idk... Kinda reminds me though, for some of you hardcores with a good memory. I was watching a Blue Jays game (not too long ago 2months max) and I think it was Bautista in the box or maybe JD, they were extending their arm out over the plate pre-pitch before the catcher threw it back to the pitcher and twice the catcher thought better of forcing a throw to the pitcher until the arm came down, he finally threw it back and then suspiciously looked at the batter. Anyone remember this? To me it looked like the catcher thought it was intentional, so maybe it's one of those "cheap trick" kind of plays that don't happen all the time but the vets know about?
  11. In that pic, if Choo wanted to do it intentionally, he probably would have reached in a bit more still being in the box, he wasn't even extended out of the box. Sadly that was all on Martin.
  12. Amazing! Too bad he can't come back for the Royals
  13. Meh rotation announced. There isn't much to go on numbers wise, but Hosmer hits Estrada well while Dickey's numbers aren't too bad vs their lineup. I guess Estrada has the edge in past balls/wild pitches as well which could be huge given their running game.
  14. I wouldn't say gutless, just stupid, esp Ventura. Found the SN page on that game http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/jays-and-royals-engage-in-post-game-war-of-words/ Really liking Dickey in this series. I would really consider going Dickey Price Stroman Estrada Dickey Price Stroman
  15. Epic video summary http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/49502912/v523216283/textor-gm5-rangers-blue-jays-play-memorable-game-5
  16. Yeah he makes questionable calls at times, but I was all for him using Price yesterday for the exact reasons he cited. The best way to hold a lead is stop a team from making it close in the first place. What happens all too often is managers (Gibby a lot of the time) take it easy with a 7 run lead watch that shrink to a 2 run lead and then try to pull out all stops. Whether Stroman shows up or not, we need Price in the BP. Doesn't really work the other way around.
  17. Jayz got this. Hamels is going to get wrecked. 8-2 Jays
