It almost feels like there is a force behind the scenes doing everything to try and dump on Shapiro for anything at all. You know like a disgruntled outgoing president who has lots of relationships around the league with players and owners alike. -

I don't see any reason why an agent is going to burn bridges with other clubs by disclosing this in the open. Seems someone has sour grapes. -
Does anyone else feel that they will try and hide Osuna in AAA for the first 2 months of the season for whatever reason you can think of to reset his service time to avoid Super 2 after this year? I would.

Man is there anything the media reports these days that is even substantial rumours? It seems as if everyone just spouts obvious statements and tries to pass it off as news rather then merely guessing like all of us can do. I would love to get rid of Dickey and bring in a Kazmir/Iwakuma in his place. It really kills me wasting 2 roster spots for a back of the rotation pitcher. -

We acquired a major league starting pitcher without trading a ton of prospects or locking ourselves up for 7 years. Its a good move.

Goins had a great year and I can't complain with him. He is however a defensive specialist who will never hit so anything above 1 WAR is a bonus (like Pillar)
