Do we go into a season where we don’t have the 8th man as someone who can be a revolving door for aaa guys? If so, I’d think borucki is traded this off-season if we sign a sp or rp. Stripling needs accounted for. Pearson to aaa I presume if a sp is signed.

I agree. I think for the same money , Jansen would be a better get than seager. We have our set 5 bullpen guys and I’d think if healthy merryweather and borucki (both out of options) are 6 and 7. 8 man would preferably be someone with options but stripling at this point. Or with roughly 30-35m left to spend , sign Jansen, seager, and a 15m sp (trade stripling and save 4m) Or use stripling at 5th sp and sign a 15m bat
