This loss isn't on Gibby or Osuna or anyone. Even the offense that scored 6 runs.
These losses expose the Jays for what they really are, an elite offense with below average pitching and major holes on defense. Nothing more. Contenders are built from pitching out, you cant just mix and match players and hope for the best.
The thing of it is that AA never knew how to build a winning team. He is good at some things, among those making good trades (Ironic) and acquiring elite talent. However he is terrible at knowing how to construct a proper contending club. This will not get better. Just project the pitching, some things may get better, the bullpen will. Hutch will. However outside of that there is little hope for improvement.
