  1. The more I think about it the more I would just leave the lineup. I don't think anyone can argue that we have a good enough lineup already yeah its maybe too RHB heavy but its good enough to pound most righty pitchers as well. Focus should be on the acquisition of pitching
  2. .342 obp with 31 sb full season Travis needs to spend a year down in the order
  3. Nobody is going to trade anything of any significance for EE. He only plays in AL and a lot if those spots are taken. Assuming we don't want to trade him to AL East that only leaves about 10 teams that may show interest if they dont have anyone at DH. He certainly won't bring in pitching help that's for sure. What could save ten mil. Here's the real question. Next year would you rather have EE and Dickey or would you rather have Price
  4. Keep both sign Chris Davis Revere Donaldson Bautista Davis Encarnacion Tulowitski Martin Travis Pillar Best lineup of the decade
  5. If you look at the window to win a championship the two coming years are the best odds. Price at the front of the rotation along with a healthy Stroman will definitely put us in the driver's seat in the ALEast Yeah Price could turn mediocre to worse in a few years but at that point the franchise will be in a full rebuild anyways.
  6. I think the best play is to make the QO and take the pick when he declines. I would also decline the option on good old RA. Sign Price and put both Osuna and Sanchez in the rotation and go heavy on the relievers
  7. So of we keep Dickey we basically have to live with Thole as backup catcher
  8. Lineup is too 1-dimensional. When they score they score them in bunches, but when they are shut down, they dont have any way of getting men on base and generating a run. You need a fully balanced lineup
  9. This is a better lineup with Pompey than it is with Encarnacion.
  10. If Estrada declines qualification do we get a pick
  11. Wow no f***ing pride
  12. F for Dickey. Complete loser performance in the ALCS
  13. Your probably doing them.a favor They don't usually talk to normal ppl there in Kansas aka my wife is my sister
  14. Lowe was the Jays best option
  15. Can Pompey even hit though
  16. I'll be disappointed if the payroll isn't put in at the 160 range
  17. Please did you see some of the crowd in KC. Compared to the gargoyles he was sitting with, He looked like Brad Pitt. Trust me, that guy is getting the first pick when it comes time for him to marry one of his cousins,
  18. are there any big pitchers coming out of Japan this offseason?
  19. Were you in mom's womb during the Carlos Tosca years
  20. Those riggings are usually done by players, as an umpire or a ref alone cannot change the outcome of the game with enough assurity to be relied upon. Pro athletes in North America are paid to such a high degree that it would be of no benefit to them to rig sports games, unless its for other reasons like covering up an affair.
  21. I was skeptical on Cola, but he had some pretty good swings in the playoffs, under some intense pressure.
