Cal Raleigh oh my god. 60 home runs! Unbelievable, legendary season.
  2. thatoneguy
Because he's being paid $500 million to be a plug when he's needed the most.
  3. thatoneguy
    God Vlad is unlikeable.
  4. thatoneguy
This lineup is absolutely miserable to watch right now aside from Springer. F*ck this team and organization for choking away this division lead.
  5. thatoneguy
500 million for a 25 HR hitter is just not what we need.
  6. thatoneguy
This team literally has no one who can consistently do damage aside from Springer when Bo is out.
  7. thatoneguy
Well no, they've been doing it all year long. But asking for it against Crochet is a tall task.
  8. thatoneguy
3 runs might as well be 7 against Crochet.

I really hope this management team is gone if they flame out in the WC round/whatever their first round is.

Really think the decision to move Lauer to the pen was a mistake.
  11. thatoneguy
This team f***ing sucks right now man, holy s***.
  12. thatoneguy
Too many holes opening up in this team as of late.
  13. thatoneguy
This was absolutely game changing. f***ing infuriating.

Would've liked to have seen JS stand up for his players there. They've been getting hosed for several games in a row now and those calls changed the game. No excuse for that ********.

By the logic, the most unlikely outcome in this case would be a 2 game lead (Jays win/Yankees lose), so I'm not sure what this is supposed to say.
  16. thatoneguy
That Bo injury is looming very large right now. The lineup just looks so much shorter without him.
  17. thatoneguy
At least we're not the Tigers...
  18. thatoneguy
This team is not instilling confidence going into the post-season right now.
  19. thatoneguy
David Fry took a 99 mph Skubal fastball to the face when trying to bunt, awful stuff in Cleveland.
  20. thatoneguy
They really need to avoid the WC round if at all possible.
  21. thatoneguy
Four game losing streak at a very important point in the season is not ideal, Really need to salvage one tomorrow. Man Kauffman is nearly Tampa level in terms of a house of horrors for the Jays.

He's still got his wheels too, 41 SB last year, 40 this year. He's easily going to reach the 300-300 club with plus defense at 3B and, in my mind, should be a 1st/2nd ballot HOFer. Might even sniff the 400-400 club if he stays healthy.

José Ramirez on his way to another 6+ WAR season. The guy just doesn't stop raking.
  24. thatoneguy
Looks like Kershaw is calling it a career after this year. First ballot HOFer obviously. https://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/breaking-news/article/clayton-kershaw-will-retire-at-the-end-of-the-2025-season-dodgers-announce-200613224.html

I mean, the Jays weren't exactly world beaters during those months lol.
