It's not just community colleges. I've had several professors between two major universities that fall into this category. It makes the subject so much more of a pain in the ass to learn.
Can't disagree with it based on how insane his second half was, both statistically and anecdotally. Kershaw and Greinke were both stellar, particularly the former with his highest fWAR season yet and the 300+ Ks.
Can we stop talk about trading Tulo in this thread? The Indians have Lindor anyway so it wouldn't really be relevant to talk about involving him in a deal for Carrasco (or to any other team because who are the Jays reasonably going to get that's better at SS).
He is certainly has some high quality pitches though and is also significantly younger than Cookie. Him + Stroman would make a great tandem at the top of the rotation.
Problem with a lot of people with degrees, especially ones with advanced degrees, is that it makes them think they can discuss anything and everything (and be an expert in it).
