    Agreed. I made a post earlier about this, but yes, I totally agree that picking Bush was the most awful way to handle this. Not even a guy who lived through the ALDS. Just a guy who worked his ass off to rehab himself and get to the bigs and now has to carry water for his new "best" "friends". I don't give a f*** or a s*** about Matt Bush but a guy with his history doesn't deserve yet another warning or suspension or what have you because his manager saw an opportune time to make him to enact some s***** payback. From Bush's perspective it's either risk punishment from the league or risk pissing off your new manager. I'd put my entire bank account that Matt Bush doesn't and will never give a s*** about last year's playoffs.

    Pretty much just bear hugged Bautista into calming down. Beltre is a Ranger but I doubt he condones Odor's suckerpunch. I bet a lot of the guys probably don't but, you know, teammates. But I mean good for the Rangers who got back at the team who they humiliated themselves against last year by winning 3 out of 7 for the season.

    As much as I disagree with bean balls and hard slides with the intent to tackle, everything that was done up to Odor's punch was within the purview of baseball. Odor straight up assaulted Bautista. Pretty sure if anyone ran into a guy like Odor at work they'd be happy to see him in cuffs. Oh, and super f***ing s***** by the Rangers to use Matt Bush -- every idiot's stupid feel good story about a s***** criminal being redeemed for getting a job -- to do the dirty work. Like the guy doesn't have enough stigma as it is and wasn't even on the team last year when the rest of his chump teammates and coaches pissed in their diapers on national TV.

    Completely agree. My first reaction when I saw it all was that the team's best hitters are about to be suspended. Hard not to see anything but a tailspin coming despite all this bro-y camaraderie horseshit. Jays blew another game that should have been in the bag but the big story is going to be the fight, chest beating, pride, whatever, and not the fact that this star studded roster is playing like a bunch of weak losers who got pretty much beat by possibly the most mediocre of mediocre pitchers to completely shut them down: Cesar Ramos.

    There's this weird cult of people who think that a rookie 2B with 80 games under is belt is the guy who will save the team over Troy Tulowitzki, Jose Bautista, Edwin Encarnacion, or Josh Donaldson. Whatever these folks are smoking I don't want any. Probably pretty toxic.
