    I've gone to the final home game three out of the last four years and went to the second final game (Price v Archer slugfest) last year. I don't have tickets for any upcoming series though. Last game I got to was the comeback against the Red Sox back in May. My final series tradition is ruined.

    Missed this one but glad to see a win, of course. Small victories: this is officially the third straight winning season for the Blue Jays. Last time this happened was 06-08 I think. Edit: just saw the thread title. Who let Trouba make the game day thread?

    People are looking for any magic answer that explains this inexplicable offensive implosion. People need to start realizing that it's just an inopportune cold spell (a very cold spell, tbh) that might be partially related to fatigue. It's not like some screw came off the cog. It just happens. I mean it's still an utter choke in the making. I'm holding out hope it turns around. But it's not like there's some thread you look back on that unraveled everything.

    Proven MVP candidates have gone completely cold all at once. Not sure what the coaches can do about that or what magic dynamic you think isn't in place. The players know what they're doing and have carried the team for nearly a calendar year's worth of games over the past two seasons. In situations like this you just acknowledge that faceplants happen even to big name squads.

    Getting completely shut down by the Angels with 14 games to go might be the team's low this year. What an absolute choke of the season. The opposing team's quality doesn't even matter at this point. The team refuses to do anything to win.
