Happ has been a clutch performer and I'm glad he's going to get the prestige of being a 20-gamer. That's pretty cool no matter what your opinion on the stat is. Happ is the first player I think of among guys who have provided way more of the intended value that's compensated for some severe patches of underperformance elsewhere. Edit: wow, just checked and the Happ, Estrada, Stroman, and Sanchez band has averaged about 3.0 WAR, give (Sanchez) or take (Estrada) a few personal tenths. Collectively clutch. The team is scrapping just to stay relevant without these performances.
