    Tulo put up 4 wins above Goins and again, he very likely couldn't be traded regardless.

    I'd say Tulo was a big reason we made the postseason last year. If memory serves me right, he went on a 3 month tear hitting the ball while playing outstanding D. Replacing his production with Goins would have sunk us out of the WC no doubt. There's still a good chance he has a solid second half and becomes more movable in the off season. He also has a no trade clause and probably couldn't have been moved regardless knowing he was already on a contender.

    You'd probably have to swap Tulo for another really bad contract for a team looking for some help. If he could be play 3B maybe Red Sox would move Pablo Sandoval for him and we could be out of the bad contract after 2019 instead of 2020. It's not going to be worth it but maybe that speeds up the rebuild a bit? Might need a belt replacement program for him though. I'd rather keep him if it's that type of move we'd be looking at.

    My kids are away this weekend so I'm supposed to get a break from playing Daddy, good grief. Look, you don't strike me as a legitimate troll but you need to understand there are a lot of dedicated fans on this board who live outside the Centre of the Universe. If your first day of posting is going to be trolling with shots about the FO (who around these woods are well liked) and ripping a part a large fan base because of their apparent lack of spending, then sorry but you won't be missed. What reaction did you expect? There are several members here who fly in regularly throughout the season from out of town, including Calgary, to watch the Jays for days at a time and have done so for decades. Many posters spend more money in a year in flight, tickets & local spending making several trips a year then you did on your tickets. Don't be so naive.
