    That'd be a piss poor excuse. His job is to swing a bat 4x every other night and get paid millions for it. There's a very very small list of jobs I wouldn't do for his kind of money. So if it's "passion" that he's lost then f*** him. Thousands give up everything in life to be where he is, he should be grateful that his "work" is a hobby. Sorry had a bad day at work lol. That said, I do hope it's something like that instead of something much more serious.

    This isn't about your opinion on the current state of the Jays but your consistent negative value here. God knows the team is old and brittle and the players are to blame above anyone. But s*** happens man and as a Jays fan you have to believe Shapiro and Atkins will make better moves for the future going forward than compared to what's been done over the past 25 years. This won't be fixed in 2 weeks so don't cry about it, either watch it and contribute to the board or don't bother.

    Rogers isn't going to allow us to be bottom feeding s*** for 4 years in hopes that we find treasure in the future. Baseball is nothing like hockey and building a sustainable winning team doesn't have to be tear it all down and start over. The risk/reward usually isn't worth it and the 4th biggest market is never going to have a $40m payroll.
