    I've never been a fan of broadcasters being homers, especially on home run calls. I'm not referencing Hawk but I guess some people need the enthusiasm behind every hit to feel more engaged or excited and I don't really see why. "Get up ball, get up ball" is not really my thing either... nor is "Swing and a Drive". Why? Because 30% of the time we get Buck'd, 30% of the time I spill my beer, and 30% of the time I'm like, yay we hit a solo bomb and now we're only down 6-1. Guess I should go look for a Smoakin' meme.

    Almost anyone... Bautista has a 90 wRC+... He's only leading off from reputation at this point or something. I don't believe he's hitting 120 wRC+ the rest of the way. Pearce, Martin, JD, Smoak, Carerra even.

    Estrada is worth more than peanuts? Perhaps they see more value in keeping him for 3 months for first chance to sign him back?

    I'd say there was a pretty drastic difference at SS, especially on D the moment we got Tulo. I mean it was so nice seeing routine plays be routine for the first time in a long while. He was a big reason we got to the postseason, Price aside.

    But his backup really really really sucks.

    Carerra has shown to be a replacement player at best when given full time play. He's a capable 4th OF tho and at least gives us some speed off the bench like pinch running for Tulo today. I think they are using him the best they can right now and getting the most out of him while they can. His offensive numbers will drop in the second half, his BABIP is not sustainable.
