  1. From April 8th to May 7th they have 1 day off, why wouldn't they need a 5th starter?
  2. If Smoak and Barton simply don't cut it would this not work better? I know it's not ideal obv, but if they simply are liabilities maybe a patchwork move if Navarro stays with the team. Righties: EE @ 1B Navarro DH Lefties: Valencia 1B EE DH
  3. Valencia rakes the lefties, and not afraid to hit on a 3-0 count.
  4. Nice job Izturis, if he hits his career line this year I'd be happy.
  5. he was so in there
  6. Snider is going to damage against us this year I just know it
  7. you weren't the only one
  8. you can't be serious
  9. He stayed in, so that's positive. 'fingers' crossed
  10. oh s*** right on Bautista's finger
  11. It was a reference to someone's Estrada 90 times out of 100 over Sanchez post hehe
  12. Most complain about that here, I'll take that 90 times out of 100 vs dingers over the wall.
  13. Why are the highest leverage situations always considered to be the 9th inning? I just haven't understood that logic. Every week scenarios happen prior to the 9th where you wish your best BP arm could bail you out. I often see teams go to their closer in the 8th inning when there are at least 1 out in a very high leverage spot and then use them again in the 9th. Tigers & Rays did that against us I believe last year and I don't think I saw it once with Jannsen. Maybe it's just Gibbons lack of balls. Edit: I can definitely see Loup getting in a few jams in the 8th if he indeed becomes the primary set up man from his walk rate alone.
  14. That's not being a hypocrite, I'm not degrading you by calling you a moron or an idiot, I'm just telling you to shut up. The lab reference was in regards to your name.
  15. and when Estrada has been to known to give up dingers by the handful as a starter.
  16. It sounds like Lind could be pitching better
  17. oh man this sounding uuuugly for Estrada
  18. I thought so, he's swiped 16 last year and 22 in 2013. I assumed he had some speed.
  19. His speed helped maybe too?
  20. fricken right boys Donaldson knocks in Pompey & Goins. 3-0
  21. "That's that good Mark Buerhle fastball at 82mph"
  22. gameday isn't tracking from what I know
  23. http://www.sportsnet.ca/schedule/ Yea next 2 look to be on TV, not sure about mlb.tv though. You'd think if it's being broadcasted it should be there.
