Hey guys, hope everyone is well. I've been away for a long time as I've dealt with a lot since early last year and baseball couldn't be a priority anymore in my life then. That said, can someone fill me in on the payrolls for 2020 at this point? We must be on the lowest end of committed contracts minus Tulo (lol)

You'd think after working in the industry for SEVENTEEN years, he'd know what not to say
  4. Governator
Probably because no one wants to cheer for Stroman.

Some collusion going on or they are drunk

Don't you think the Mets would have offered the same deal in the offseason considering they are looking at next year at this point? Why would they take this deal from them now 4 days to go still before the deadline.

Pretty sure there are more ball players and staff at the game than fans.

I don't imagine too many 30yr old regular ball players enjoying being on a team that's in rebuild mode. He was quoted talking about Atkin's plans for waiting until 2022 to compete during ST, maybe he had one foot out the door?

My parents were at the first opener at exhibition stadium when it snowed.

How many innings before we see Stroman whining to the ump?

I mean... can't even make up half the ridiculous injuries we've seen over the last few years.

Turning down $300M to play baseball until your 36 years old. That's called rolling the dice.

The thought of having to absorb $18 million as a fallback is a significant amount of money for someone who nearly missed an entire season with a calf injury and might be a shell of his former self. Get something of equal value, pay out his remaining salary if you must and move on without the added risk.

I think if another GM was making it clear they were also interested, then you go with the honour system to not hinder future negotiations with involved teams later on.

Yes lol finally. For months I could barely even use it. It started working better only this past few weeks.
