Yes, I'm not suggesting he's not a front of the rotation arm nor will he be successful. It's just a lot of arms from the NL don't always translate in to success in the AL and our division has many potent bats (including DH spots) in hitter friendly parks. Hamels/Cueto might not be best suited here. I guess if the rental choices are limited to Cueto/Shark, I'd prefer whoever between them is more likely to succeed here rather than who might cost more. Shark's already made the jump to the AL and maybe less of a risk. Josh Johnson didn't exactly pan out for us.
Too bad Boston is finding success because Buchholz was probably available.
