  1. I'm hoping Hendriks has finally gained some trust from Gibbons. He's proven he can jump right in and stop the bleeding for us so I'd hope if Price does find some trouble he doesn't jump straight to Stroman or something stupid in the 5th when we can shut the door with Hendriks to get to Lowe/Sanchez/Osuna.
  2. pitch count is irrelevant when you are late in a game and the wheels are falling off.
  3. Minus the circus to start the 7th, some bad luck & late hook, he was pretty much nails his last start.
  4. Hope the Jays absolutely mash Ventura. I want to see crooked numbers and a hook by the 3rd.
  5. Holy early. Jonn might cry. Honestly though, why aren't we throwing out our top GDT starters all postseason? We have fun with that all season.
  6. Yea that drove me nuts, like just shut up. Also, I feel quite good about tomorrow. Lets be honest, Price absolutely owned the Royals on their field his last start before the Go Go f*** up and the string of hits they luckboxed on him that followed. He's going to dominate the f*** out of them again and Gibby will have a quick hook ready for him if the game calls for it this time.
  7. pretty sure stats are quite relevant to this thread...
  8. You'd almost think this is the first time a team has considered using their best pitcher in relief in an elimination game.
  9. Too much overreaction with the Price thing imo. It was 1-0 after the top of the 6th, Gibby has to be prepared in case of an implosion (This wouldn't be something new to Jays pitchers), he has zero lefties in the pen and in the event of runners on with Morales at the plate (Who by the way has hit 4hrs this postseason) he would at least have the option ready. You have to win game 5 to get to game 6... it should be a nonstory anyway, nothing came from it.
  10. Pretty sure I'm the only who has felt most comfortable prior to a game knowing Estrada has the ball throughout the season (Price/Stroman not included).
  11. Did you ask Ryan Goins for his autograph?
  12. and if you were going with your wife, and cancel it on her you might have divorce papers the next day.
  13. All I got was a single for Game 2 so far deep in the nosebleeds.
  14. He can be highly effective with at least an open bag to work with and lefties rarely hit him around. They are less likely to get that big hit and he's the most likely to get us a K.
  15. Delabar by a mile. He can be used as a reverse split lefty specialist as long as there is an open bag or two lol
  16. If Delabar is on the secondary list he should be here. He gets lefties out better than any righty we have and a better relief option than Buehrle.
  17. Yes there is no postseason bereavement list. Jays tried petioning to the league to let them put Loup on the DL knowing he'd even miss the World Series. http://mlb.nbcsports.com/2015/10/21/the-blue-jays-are-playing-a-man-down-due-to-a-dumb-roster-rule/
  18. Exactly, one game at a time. 7 doesn't exist at the moment, just focus on playing good baseball.
  19. I got to start calling these things more often. I seem to be pretty damn good at it.
  20. These last few games Tulo has looked arguably better than he has at any point as a Jay. It's so nice to see Troy Tulof***ingwitzki looking like himself for once.

  22. How do these cameras follow a baseball so perfectly, every pitch, zoomed in. It's pretty amazing really.
