    If we win the top WC spot and there is a tie for the 2nd spot that would be swell. I believe they have to play a tie breaker game to get in the WC game which could be a big advantage.

    If the last game of the season is meaningless (it is possible), then they can let Dickey throw one for old time sake and use Sanchez or Stro.

    Yes this. The point was we had other options available that would have kept Martin in the game and his decision to go to Dickey seemed experimental at best, regardless of the result. Dickey is the guy you after your pen arms are used up in September instead of using a positional player like Barney or Goins. Just a poor choice and it really bothered me that he used Barnes for 1 f***ing batter in extra innings.

    He's had a high K rate throughout his career. His BABIP has been very low 2nd half, likely from the shift against him and also from simply put, bad luck.

    Good question, I forgot they sold those separate for post-season but it makes sense to keep more people in their seats and allows them to sell more tickets.

    Honestly I'm not 'cheering' for either Baltimore or Boston, however their games fall I will just accept it. We just need to keep winning and gain some momentum back in this team before end of season. I've already assumed Red Sox have got the division and it would really suck if the O's took home field advantage from us at this point for a WC game. As much of a coin flip that game is, I'd still want to host it and I wouldn't be disappointed with that.

    Decided not to buy, had tickets ready to purchase for ALDS 3 (which I think won't happen) & ALCS 2 but sadly I had to remind myself I'm not allowed to use a CC these days and gave them up lol. If I had a 2 WC tickets I would have bought.
