  1. Jays have to go on a big run to come close to Wildcard. The chance Cleveland does is pretty small and even worse than the Blue Jays
  2. Deceptive Delivery. Side note-This ump tonight is just awful
  3. Rasmus becomes awful when a ball is about to hit the wall. Also Melky has been terrible tonight. Just holds the ball when he has a chance to throw out the runner.
  4. Andd Danny Valencia should once again not be hitting against RHP. Dude can not pick up a breaking ball.
  5. I dont like the hook but his pitch count was getting close to the 40-50 range.
  6. That last ball wasn't even a hard hit. I think they took him out cuz they didn't want him throwing over 50 pitches in the first inning..
  7. Command is definitely off.. Hes been our best starter and got squeezed on the first batter so I can't really fault him.
  8. Jeez. His career could easily be done now. Didn't he have a shoulder issue previously as well?
  9. So apparently Norris is 1st and ahead of Sanchez on the Blue Jays internal prospect rankings as well. No real surprise here although the media seems to make a huge deal about Sanchez which us think otherwise a little bit.
  10. We all know the MLB would never decrease the amount of playoff teams. I don't like that first scenario as: 1) The top 2 teams don't play for at least 3 days which would kill their momentum as it is pretty much an All Star break. 2) Having 3 teams play only 2 or 3 playoff games after a 162 game season is a massive crapshoot. At least with the current format it is only 2 teams that have a play in game but 3 teams mean the majority are playing less than 3 playoff games.
  11. Apparently its not mental though, his actual stuff has decreased. He had TJS so its no suprise to see his stuff decline. The commentator for the Bisons was on the fan the other day and said while he can have trouble with his command at times its more his stuff just not being the same pre 2nd TJS. His fastball is flat and doesn't have that same life or velocity. He's pretty much done at this point.
  12. How would you format the playoffs if you have 2 divisions of 8 or 4 divisions of 4?
  13. I think people like the NFL more because you only have to commit to one game a week. Think of how many hours you spend watching the Blue Jays during a season.
  14. This looks at it from purely a numbers stand point but gives a pretty good answer. Blue Jays would need to go 27-13 for them to have about an 80% chance to get in. Unless they get really hot, most likely the playoffs are out of reach. http://www.sportsclubstats.com/MLB/American/ALEastern/BlueJays.html
  15. Pretty much this. Looks pretty unlikely but if they pull a horseshoe out of their ass they can make it at least really interesting in the last week.
  16. it sure would of been nice if they could have gotten a 2nd or 3rd baseman at the deadline..
