Yeah what I said has been the case for the majority of the season. He is a good rebounder but his numbers are inflated by all the ones he jumps over teammates for.

He is currently on the roundtable on PTS. Pretty interesting Jays tidbits so far. One of the things he said strongly is that Dickey is not trouble in the clubhouse and it was other players. Without saying his name, sounded like Lawrie and some of the younger players were more "cancers" than anyone else. Other interesting things: -Doesn't see Jay Bruce a fit at all -Jays like Andrew Miller but thinks market will get too high -Thinks Happ would be moved before Dickey -Thinks next move will be either LF or bullpen -Also said thinks the Blue Jays made a huge mistake last year at the deadline not getting Prado. That makes everyone in Toronto...

I wonder what the new turf will be like this year. I've never actually set foot on the RC turf but the new field turf that is in most places now I actually like to play on. -
Boras is just trying to make his client sound more appealing, he does this every year. If his client was Shields he would say how healthy he has been in his career and say how durable he is. Still an interesting article about pitches thrown. The one takeaway is that "pitchers will get hurt no matter how you try to protect them."

I laugh when people say that KD liking Toronto as a kid will make him more likely to come here as a FA. Your right in that in the very slim chance KD actually were to come to Toronto, it would because he thinks this team/org would give him the best chance to win a championship. Having Drake helps and GV going to the same high school isn't bad either but in the end KD will pick the team that he thinks is the best fit for him. It seems the most likely he resigns with OKC though. The new CBA will be very interesting as there will be a ton of free agents that offseason so we have no idea what it will mean for all these star players.

There is a reason he has the shortest leash on the team though. The team has just been better with him off the court. Its a tough balance because on one hand you want to develop your young C but on the other the priority is to win games. If JV plays in the 4th Q in some of those games this team is probably 9-6 or 10-5 right now. Coach Casey is obviously trying to win games so you can't really fault him for putting out the players that give you the best chance to win in the 4th Q. I think the best thing would be too increase JV's mins gradually. JV playing an extra 3 min in the 4th Q isn't going to be the difference of him becoming a top C. He can develop playing 26 min a night while easing him into the role once him defense improves.

Theres probably a 5% chance of that happening. Kevin Durant can pretty much choose any team to sign with since the cap is going up by a ton.

Use NBA.com for Orating and Drating. Bball Reference's are garbage, they use estimated points per possession not the actual numbers which nba.com does.
