    This officiating crew has been terrible. Bad calls/non calls on both teams.

    For the Raps the biggest questions are going to be: 1. Can Derozan and Lowry play to their talent level 2. Can the young players knock down open shots. Delon, OG, VV and Siakam are going to be left open as teams rightfully will focus on Lowry and Derozan. I'm confident in the Raptors defense being good enough as they've shown all year they are a top team with all of their length and athleticism so I think that will translate. Then bench isn't going to be a factor as much given stars play 35-40 min in the playoffs.

    I think the key to beating them in the playoffs will be to play extremely fast. Cavs will no doubt turn it up in the playoffs but at the same time they are still old and slow and have limitations on defense. If the Raps or Celtics (maybe even the Wiz) run in transition I think they have a good chance of beating them. The Pace always slows down in the playoffs because teams don't want to risk turning the ball over but a smart coach will realize that's going to be how you beat them.

    Curious to see if the Jays FO thinks they'll be able to get him next off season for cheaper than now. Much like the JB and EE situation perhaps the player wants to test the FA market and only will forego that opportunity if paid top dollar. Next offseason there are going to be lots of other marquee FA and the glut of 3rd baseman on good teams is still going to be there.

    I wonder if the PA will fight to get years of control to drop to 5. They f***ed themselves by agreeing to the spending caps in the draft and IFA. Teams will still pay for players, they just understand the aging curve much more. I think we're already seeing a trend of players (at least stars) not willing to sign away FA years on pre-arb extensions.

    Cain at 4/60 would be a pretty good deal.

    Yeah. Projections don't think he will be very good either only a 90 wRC+.

    I would have liked him on the Jays for only 3/39.

    He had one of the highest difference between his expected wOBA and his actual wOBA (in a bad way) so I'm curious why the FO keeps pumping his tires given they are believers in that information.

    Went to my 4th ever Raptors game tonight and couldn't have picked a better game. Derozan was in constant heat check and Giannis was just insane to watch. Fantastic game.

    I could easily see Colorado only winning 75 games. Seems to be one of the last few FO in MLB that hasn't caught up analytics wise. Baltimore, Miami and SF might be the only other ones off the top of my head.

    They would have video cameras inside the mall/stores so I would think they would be able to check the tape to see what happened. Although if its not a police investigation perhaps they can't do that.

    I don't really doubt those allegations. At the same time I'm not sure a suspension is going to hold up for grabbing someone on the wrist even if it did leave someone sore the next day. Nothing new for athletes and coaches to be hitting on women that's for sure. s*** happens everyday.

    Powell has been horrible lately and probably should just be taken out of the rotation. Zero confidence and can't make a 3 to save his life.
