  1. lol that has nothing to do with being smart.
  2. Thats why I give zero credit to Rogers for hiring Shapiro. They just got lucky AF that Shapiro fell in front of them at the perfect time. The Org. could easily of been set back 5-10 years if they picked Kenny Williams, Dan Duquette or any of these other guys.
  3. http://slaterscoops.com/news/2015/11/18/the-miami-marlins-clubhouse-was-a-circus-literally
  4. As a fan yeah but players on his team don't think that way..
  5. Wonder if Fernandez would be more tame in the Jays clubhouse. Those reports out of Miami made him out to be one of the worst teammates in the sport and it got so bad to the point that teammates hoped he would fail. That act sure as hell wouldn't work in a clubhouse with Bautista, JD, Tulo and Martin.
  6. Buck might slider over to colour out of respect for Shulman. He's the number 1 PxP guy in the sport so he shouldn't play 2nd fiddle on a regional broadcast lol.
  7. That basically makes them untouchable. Sure Donaldson and Stroman would be traded if the Angels offered Mike Trout but everyone knows that isn't going to happen so its a moot point.
  8. I wonder if he will fill in for Buck and Tabby when they are on vacation or it will be a 3 man booth
  9. It seems like no matter who is catching Dickey there will be a drop off in their offensive performance relative to their offensive skill.
  10. Grant has backed himself into a corner too far to backtrack. He's pot committed at this point in his argument about pitching.
  11. Golden State is actually the best defensive team in the NBA. I find a lot of people think because they give up a lot of points their defense isn't good when it has been best in the NBA 2 years now.
  12. His shooting mechanics are terrible. Demar is a bad shooter overall. He just takes a lot of mid range shots so a few go in making the general fan think he is a decent shooter.
  13. I'm sure if players see the other team flat footed they would push the ball up the court for a quick bucket. I can't see this being a new breakthrough strategy.
  14. Wonder if Nick Nurse would be a good HC. All the new HC of late have been awful even worse than Casey so you wonder about game management of some of these guys.
  15. Derozan shouldn't be allowed to touch the ball in the last 3 min of games. He's been terrible.
  16. Holy s*** Carrol is awful at imbounding. Twice not he burns a TO in late game situation.
  17. Should of took out Scola earlier..
  18. Derozan taking some god awful shots here. Nothing to see here...
  19. This team looks absolutely gassed on the offensive end. Take out Scola and put in CJ.
  20. Wow. That was a poster if I've ever seen one. Top 10 dunk of the year.
  21. If there is a reduction in performance for all Catchers catching Dickey you might as well just bring Thole back. If no one is going to give you offence just get the guy who is the best at catching him. Non-tender Thole and sign him back for 500-700K.
  22. I don't think you could ever come up with a formula that fully quantifies pitching skill. How do you measure game calling into that? Some catchers are better than others at calling a game but there really is way to quantify it. I can't see catcher framing being included in WAR in the near future as it would be so difficult to track. BP might be the first since they already track catcher framing but I can't see FG doing it.
  23. Stroman might be a close 2nd.
  24. You would tire out your team like crazy if you did that. Not to mention increase risk of injury etc... If you want to save clock just don't pick the ball up on the inbound till closer to mid court. Lowry actually does this quite often. The 2 point jumpshot strategy is pretty much what the Rockets run. I think it really depends on personnel. Like Steph Curry shoots over 50% on 10-16 foot jumpers which is better than someone who shoots 33% from 3.
