    Exactly. Its dangerous as hell and something he should not be doing lol. I mean if instead of punching her in the face he took out his anger on his garage I guess we could say it was a good thing. But at the same time he obviously has anger issues if he takes his anger out in this capacity. Lets not forget the allegations of abuse as well.

    Yeah I want to give him the benefit of the doubt since he seems like a really good guy but I find myself not liking his managerial decisions more and more often. I really don't want Revere leading off.

    You can't be shooting a gun in your garage as I'm sure that is a "danger" to neighbours. You're pretending like he calmly shot a gun into an empty field. He got pissed went on a rampage breaking car windows and fired a gun 8 times in his own garage.

    He also shot a bullet through a window into a field. Imagine there was an innocent by stander who got shot if he was standing outside that window. f***in idiot could of killed someone.

    How the hell does the report only come out now? I bet there are so many more "domestic abuse" stories we don't hear about in MLB. The only ones that get reported are ones with choking and gun shots apparently. In terms of actual baseball news Reds just lost a ton of trade value.

    Well considering Fernandez already had TJS and has terrible mechanics that has to have an effect on his value?

    What is the aging curve for pitchers? If we say Stroman is a 3.5-4 Win pitcher right now and Fernandez is a 5 Win pitcher how do they project for the next 5 years?

    I think he's a vegetation so that probably explains his lack of any muscle.

    Makeup isn't why I wouldn't do the trade, its a factor but the injury factor is more of a deterrent for me. Also like I said Stroman you get for 2 additional years and the much more likely possibility to sign a team friendly extension. It sounds like Fernandez is determined to go to FA in 3 years.

    He's not going to accept a trade. Maybe he would midseason since it wouldn't attach the QO to him but he knows RC is a great place to hit.

    If the Marlins offered that trade I highly doubt Shapiro accepts it. For them to trade Stroman it would have to be an extreme overpay in value.

    Its not even that ridiculous, plus its an opinion which I said at the time most people won't agree with. Stroman has 2 extra years and a much cleaner injury history. Stroman by all accounts has the much superior makeup as well.

    Yeah its true. If you increase the offensive production you will increase the number of PA for the top of the order since you will be turning the lineup over more often. The increase in value would show up in the players at the top of the lineup's WAR.

    obviously. No doubt he's one of the best starters in the game when healthy. I said I'd be in the minority with this opinion but even though Stroman isn't as good the extra 2 years of control are pretty valuable. I also think Stroman is more likely to sign an extension which would make his value go up as oppose to Fernandez who will surely go to FA. Also as good as Fernandez is it would be a PR disaster to trade Stroman. Everyone would be standing outside RC with pitchforks waiting for Shapiro.

    I know I'll be in the minority but given the injury history and makeup I'd take 5 years of Stroman over 3 of Fernandez.

    I wouldn't trade Stroman for Fernandez straight up.

    Shapiro probably hasn't seriously considered Davis at all or trading Bautista/Edwin. I can't see JB or EE accepting a trade before the season starts.
