I agree with a lot of this in post. He actually wants to make a difference in the Dominican.
Also the same people calling out Rogers for being cheap are calling out Bauitsta for telling Rogers they are cheap which is ironic.
EE is getting more than $45 Million, and even then I'd rather just get the pick and get an LH outfielder. Bautista is a better fit because he can at least has the flexibilty to play the OF even if its not well.
Still this is a top 5 team in the NBA and you can get tickets for really cheap on the secondary market. I think if the team is playing like this come playoffs they'd have a 35-40% chance of knocking off the Cavs which is pretty damn good. Lowry has never been healthy in the playoffs yet.
I'd really like to see Brandon Moss be signed. Of all the targets talked about he seems by far the best option. Can be a 2 Win player in a platoon role and has even more upside beyond that with the bat much like Morales because he's always played in a s*** ballpark.
Average to slight below in a corner OF and can play 1st as well so he has versatility. For what should only cost 20-25 Million I think its great value.
To be fair he was terrible in that entire series. Also no matter who the manager is fans will complain just by virtue of how many decisions they have to make.
Same thing happened with DFS. As soon as some States ban it, it dries up. The advertising for it has dried up and you never hear people talking about it anymore really.
Well what do you expect, its a baseball forum lol. Go to another forum and they'll be complaining about every other sport too.
I personally say the most enjoyable is NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL
Well thats exactly the point, it doesn't matter what the hell Gibby does because a player doesn't factor in the manager to signing somewhere. Its about:
1. Money
2. Quality of team/Family
3. Money
Once the player is signed, they say all this BS about how great they think the city is and manager blah blah blah.
Not sure where to put this but this is a fantastic interview with Josh Donaldson. The first half of it is mostly MMA but they talk some Blue Jays at the end as well. Ariel Helwani did a fantastic job getting a lot of great insight out of JD.

Next time just post the quote because I had to read half of a Simmons article to get there, time I will never get back into my life..
Also whats this about Joey Votto not playing for Canada at the WBC? I thought he was confirmed to playing?
The only time I ever really watch soccer is the World Cup and Euro so maybe thats why the game seemed so bad. You go from the best players in the world to scrubs making 100K/year.
So pretty much Hockey on a soccer field? You can't ruin the entire sport like that lol, it would actually be worse since no good players would play in your league making the game even worse.
The actual game is fine but penalty kicks in the playoffs is ridiculous. MLS should just change that rule.
