  1. Western culture has become too sensitive these last few years..... How high on the offended scale should people be when Caitlyn Jenner is the butt of jokes? My works harassment policy classifies 'overhearing' a conversation between a friend and I talking about f***ing his wife in the ass as harassment......... Why does North America want to empower people to amplify them to become more over-sensitive pussies? tiem for bed, boooze gone.
  2. this josh byrnes nonsense cant be true....can it? I'd lose some respect for SHapiro if he hired that tool.
  3. It'd be awesome if he said FYSMC during his speech
  4. Listening to his interview with Dean blundell, he explained how excited he was to be calling Jays games again. Given his resume and demand for American broadcasts (both basketball and baseball), it's pretty clear he chose to call games in Canada again because of a desire to do so and not monetary reasons like when he left at the turn of the century.
  5. Time for Bf***ed Marktinez to step down, Jays had to let go of Alan Ashby already, (love his demeanor). Dan Shulman is a fantastic broadcaster, and to read its his dream come true to come home and call Jays games just screams for Rogers to sign this guy to a long term lucrative contract. Buck can take Barry Davis' job
  6. where did you read about him having a fracture? From what i've read this is a birth defect of his bone not fusing together while developing as a child, and it might not even be the cause of his pain. The surgery included placing inserting screws into the infielder's shoulder to stabilize an extra bone in his shoulder, due to a condition known as Os Acromiale - non-union of the acromion bone. According to the to the team, the pre-existing condition did not contribute to the inflammation experienced this season. The acromion is the most prominent bone on the top of your shoulder. You can feel it easily. The acromion developes as four separate parts during childhood. These have all joined together (fuse) by the age of 25 years in most people. However, in 8% of people one or more of the parts do not fuse.
  7. Pure Spanky at his finest.
  8. I wonder what it would take to pry Ken Giles away from the phillies now that Amaro is gone. He'd look good in a Jays uni
  9. I would wager that just about every black man, or minority for that matter, faced racial adversity at some point in the 60's and 70's. It was unavoidable. The "pulled it out of your ass" reference was with regards to the conclusions you drew from said racial experiences.
  10. this is quite a large withdraw from your rectum.....
  11. Think wilner would of made it on the radio back in the glory days?
  12. Chamon now. This can only apply when Bats is playing with one arm like he did this past season.
  13. Heres a fun one, who would you rather have starting at SS given a limited payroll Simmons at 13-15 million or Ryan Goins at 2-3 million. Think about it.....
  14. Joey Bats and ODay in the same clubhouse, that would be fun to see
  15. Much worse doesnt apply to different type of hitter, they are both shiat hitters that will hover around 70-85 wRC+ for their careers. While Simmons is a generational talent at SS, it doesnt translate into him being exponentially valuable to Goins defensively, its marginal when discussing elite vs all-world and doesnt have as great an impact on the outcome of games as comparing someone who is below average to above average.
  16. not at all, they are comparable offensively, and defensively Goins is inferior, but not by as much as most would like to think. If they both hit exactly the same as Simmons did this past year when he put up 3.2 WAR, I`d argue over a full season at SS Goins would put up close to 2.5 WAR himself.
  17. I wouldnt want to paying 40+ million to a player that isnt that far off from Ryan Goins in his 29 30 31 age seasons. Thats just me though.
  18. Kimbrel hasn't fallen off a cliff like some of you suggest, his K/BB rates are still fantastic, his fastball velocity is still consistently upper 90's ( no change from earlier years). The major difference affecting his WAR output from this year was the HR/9. Id be willing to bet he pisses off a lot of Jays fans closing out games for the Sox with his eliteness the next couple of years, and Id expect a 2+ WAR out of him next season if healthy. f*** steamer and their projections, how a rough april translates into a full season of 1.3 WAR for arguably one of the best relievers in MLB from mid May on is beyond me. Still a ridiculous overpay for him though
  19. his contract hurt his return value big time, even though its not egregious, its still inflated. Retard Wren jumped the gun on that extension. I love watching him play SS though, hes so slick.
  20. over exaggerate for dramatic effect?
  21. its to protect the bet from injury smarty pants.....
  22. It has nothing to do with spraying the ball all over the field, he needs to learn to lay off pitches that are terrible, which he's shown no ability to do up to this point in his career.
  23. lol, a couple of bad ones eh? The kid makes his mind up hes swinging before the catcher drops a sign to the pitcher, as illustrated by his paltry 4.5% BB rate. He hasnt improved his plate discipline one bit since he's been in the majors, with his only caveat being able to make contact at an elite level even on pitches out of the zone. If he ever does figure it out though, he'd be a solid hitter.
  24. no thanks to davis, he's an Andrew Jones at the plate waiting to happen
