    It has nothing to do with spraying the ball all over the field, he needs to learn to lay off pitches that are terrible, which he's shown no ability to do up to this point in his career.

    lol, a couple of bad ones eh? The kid makes his mind up hes swinging before the catcher drops a sign to the pitcher, as illustrated by his paltry 4.5% BB rate. He hasnt improved his plate discipline one bit since he's been in the majors, with his only caveat being able to make contact at an elite level even on pitches out of the zone. If he ever does figure it out though, he'd be a solid hitter.

    The worst part about Gibbons staying on is going to be reading all the ******** posts from Trouba and Co. wanting him fired after every BP move he makes......Shapiro should of just canned him

    Sad to see AA go, he was very likable, but honestly was/is a mediocre GM at best. The timing of this does not bode well for Shapiro as he's now in the position of having to experience immediate success or feel the wrath of an overall idiotic fan base and media.....good luck with that.

    The Dodgers ate 32 million in the trade, so his salary isnt quite 21 million per, its around 15 million per in Padre commitment.....still a super lopsided trade though

    Folty is a great comp to Sanchez, although he throws a deeper arsenal with a less effective fastball than Aaron. I see no reason to trade Sanchez for the sake of trading him, his value will bring shiat in return and there is still the possibility he develops into a semi decent starter.
