    I'm with Stangstag on this one ...there's no way you pitch to ortiz ..other than you want to give the sox fans something to cheer about. He's slower than a tortoise with 3 broken legs, chance he does not come around to score is about the same chance he has of hitting safely.     Price himself said that he was very surprised that there was NO offer. He didn't mention any "verbal communication " , and that's because it didn't take place, other than in your fool head. And I can tell you where I am thick ...so bend over and I'll verify my claim , don't want you guessing on it .

    Fans not angry that price wasn't signed , but they are angry that he wasn't even given an offer . Maybe he signs a 3 year 100 mil offer. And in case people say there's no way he would.The real fact is that nobody here knows what Price would've done, and that making that offer would cost less than a penny.
