    Are you queer ? Hey nothing wrong if you are.. just remember this is a bluejay baseball forum,and making derogatory comments on a person's looks is very childish. I'm a heterosexual and never even thought to question his looks, or anyone else on any baseball team. Men don't interest me that way. But I suppose a man's looks is important to you. I apologize if your are a female, born a female, not a transgendered once a male hormone saturated man. Just wondered what makes people like you the way you are.

    I agree, but for me the turning point was when martin was up with bases loaded and in a 1-2 count, then swings at a pitch out of the strike zone and then again on a pitch up high..he tried to be the hero instead of waiting for his pitch..guess walking in a run don't get you on the highlight reel.

    No, he should have taken hutch out after the hit batter. IMO it's never a good idea to bring in a reliever with bases loaded and 0 outs. Then on the other hand, Gib most likely doesn't have confidence in the BP. It's easy to argue moves after the game is over.

    Yes, and they should keep it that way. Just think we'd have a better chance with Martin. Don't need to be a Sherlock Holmes to come to this conclusion.

    Not sure if this has been said here, but if Dickey HAS to start, have martin as catcher. Why put in a struggling pitcher AND an anemic hitter in the same game? Thinking that Martin catching Dickey will ruin Martin is just silly. Jays need to score 7 runs just to have a realistic chance of winning, and with Martin they will get a few more much needed runs. Although this will not even get the jays close to the playoffs.

    Baseball is one of the least physically demanding game. A 300 pounder can hold a job for years.

    The fight was terrible, non stop no action..I would have disqualified both fighters for non participation. Not even a mark or even a slight swelling on either fighters face, they should be fined.

    Those cops u say aren't dirty are just as guilty for not demanding the dirty cops be charged with murder, or go on strike. One of the reason there's so many shooting of unarmed citizens is because they keep getting away with it. Over 90% never even get indicted,and when they do, they are found to have acted according to procedure. Hope the newly appointed attorney general brings the hammer down hard on the police chiefs, mayors and police union leaders.

    You must be guessing, cause you're not going by past stats. Smoak can't catch,and he's never yet proven he's above average with his bat. Navarro can catch and he's doable as a hitter, and I am not interested in the park difference, seattle bigger park should get smoak more hits but less HRs, meh, he's unremarkable as a hitter, but good defense at 1st.Thole is the one needs to go, and dickey right behind him if that's possible.

    You are right, I don't want Navarro DHing unless Smoak is hurt,but on the other hand, I don't want Thole catching dickey or anyone, let martin figure out the knuckleball, and he will. Navarro should be Martin's backup when needed. We don't need a catcher on the roster to catch one pitcher only. I understand Navarro is on the DL atm, but I'm afraid that the plan is to keep Thole around for Dickey's personal catcher,and this worries me. That previous post was sarcasm mixed with cheap wine.

    Tampa 12, Jays 2 !! Get rid of Navarro please,free up the 5 mil and shore up the team. Thole should catch Dickey, Navarro didn't even get a hit against the rays.

    If Martin gets injured who's going to be our everyday catcher?Navarro kept the jays afloat last year,forget this framing myth,most of you have no clue what that means.You want Thole catching the rest of the year, or bring another rookie into the lineup ? It's a joke that freeing up the 5 million will get us a playoff spot. No martin, with no Navarro, will guarantee no playoffs.
