  1. When is Gibbons going to make a change? Sanchez is clearly not right.
  2. Throwing a lot of 2 seamers around 92-93 mph according to Gameday. Not sure I want him facing Machado/Davis/Trumbo, but he hasn't reached 100 pitches or given up the lead, and that's the only time Gibbons makes a change.
  3. If I was starting, I'd live 1 or 2 inches off the strike zone on the outside corner. The ump is calling that for a strike every time.
  4. Professional hitting by Navarro. Keep that man at DH forever. /Gibbons.
  5. Ah, the return of "professional hitter" Navarro. Gibbons is a POS.
  6. Keeping Happ in the game cause he needs dem winz.
  7. If Gibbons is picking the playoff roster, I'd bet he chooses his boy "Go Go" over Pompey.
  8. Don't need a lefty. Just pitch your best guys in the most high leverage spots. Live with the consequences.
  9. Benoit with a clean inning and 2 (should have been 3) K's. Just like we all predicted.
  10. Smoak comes through, nice. Tack on some more runs.
  11. Glad they used Osuna in that high pressure four run game yesterday against the worst team in the AL so he'd be unavailable tonight. Nicely done.
  12. Where's the Gibby laughing GIF? You know Benoit's coming in, unfortunately. Right in time to face Machado, Davis, and Trumbo. In other words, Jays need to score some insurance runs right now.
  13. If Osuna and Grilli are out, then yes, Benoit will close. He's 103 years old so dat experience will lead the way.
  14. Buck did the Jays a favor by keeping Miley in to face the top of the order, but only Bautista's HR added a run. Missed chance. Now the Jays will have to score off their pen. Ugh.
  15. I hate to do this because defending Gibbons makes me want to vomit, but look at Travis' splits. Dude can't hit lefties this season. It's probably a sample size issue since he hit them fine last year, but I can't get mad at White Cito looking at splits when putting the lineup together. At least he's trying. Now, if Travis was batting 9th against a righty, then F Gibbs.
  16. Hendriks repeating what he did last year (or close to it) hurts, especially given how bad Chavez was.
  17. Trade for him in the winter.
  18. Thole would be a waiter somewhere if it wasn't for Dickey.
  19. I can't believe we sat through four years of this goof. Just one more month and he and his personal caddy can GTFO.
  20. Is a Fangraphs article where they absolutely slaughter sample size in order to create a stupid narrative the new jinx? Carrera was supposed to be a different player, so was Ryan Goins, and lord knows who else. Now Stroman has a poor start after this article was made....you know where the blame should go.
  21. Why couldn't Navarro's fat ass come to Toronto by today? Thole is so bad he makes me long for Navarro.
  22. Velocity is way down. Dat FIP aside, the Jays probably got the best years out of him, and now he faces life as a volatile reliever who will go from team to team every year.
