    Since you don't know what triggered means, here is a translation of what you just posted: "I'm not triggered......but you trigger me". Like I said, obnoxious homers. With no self awareness either, apparently. There is an ignore feature, by the way, you can use it. You obviously read my posts thoroughly, I'm flattered, but you can choose not to. Just saying.

    Wow, Kay has completely turned things around since joining Buffalo. With the Mets he had gopheritis with an average K rate, but now he's not giving up any HR's, striking batters out at a good clip, and giving up too many walks (but improving each start). Very positive signs.

    I kinda want to see Fisher play (there is some upside there even if he's a long shot to ever reach it), but yeah, I don't look forward to watching McKinney play. Or Tellez for that matter. Definitely want to see Alford get some AB's. He's out of options next year (I think), so he'll probably be on the 25/26 man roster in some capacity in 2020.

    Holy s***, some of you are the most obnoxious homers I have ever seen. If a tongue and cheek sentence about Montoyo playing everyone triggers you this much, you may need to evaluate your life a bit. Wow. At least my Buntoyo nickname was more accepted. I can rest easy knowing that.

    Man when the rosters expand next month there will be a new lineup top to bottom every game. Montoyo plays everyone.

    I don't think they'll care about the super 2 as much as the extra year of control. If he's dominating AAA in April, then no need to wait. Call him up after you get 2026 under control.

    Pearson will not be called up in Sept, and will definitely get the Vlad treatment. Since we are talking about a few weeks, I don't think it's a big deal. Vlad was big league ready with the bat in mid 2018, that's why there was a big hoopla about it. With Pearson, he's on an innings restriction and only has 2 AAA starts. No rush, and no point, putting him on the 40 man now.

    I didn't like it for the Jays initially, only because I didn't think we needed to add anything (Stevenson) to get a player who was about to be out of options with no role on his team, but yeah it really seems like both teams buying at the lowest value and hoping to get anything of value out of it. Jays hoping they can fix Fish and Astros hoping they could fix Sanchez + get anything out of Biagini/Stevenson. Ultimately seems like a pretty blah trade for both teams.

    Kyle Johnston was acquired by the Jays in the Hudson deal. Before trade: 105 IP, 37 BB, 100 K After trade: 18.2 IP, 20 BB, 12 K Aaron Sanchez would be so proud.

    The Mets drew 3 straight walks in the 10th but due to the umps it resulted in 2 outs and a single. Robo umps need to happen yesterday.

    28.1 IP, 22 H, 9 ER, 2 BB, 23 K, 4 HR He actually pitched another scoreless inning after I posted that, so he had 7 SO innings tonight. He also had a 10:0 GO:FO rate tonight, which probably puts his GB% over 50% over that span, but I'm too lazy to calculate that.

    Hatch: 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K, 8:0 GO:FO Numbers since the trade are pretty damn good.

    MLB needs to hire a bunch of 20-somethings who are familiar with social trends and what a younger audience wants, and go from there. This is embarrassing. Provides absolutely no value to the viewer and is an eye sore. They won't gain a single fan with this s***.

    MLB is awful at marketing. You look at the NBA and NFL, and it's night and day compared to MLB. Granted it is easier to market to a younger generation in an individual driven league like the NBA, but man, every time MLB tries to do something to appeal to a younger audience it comes off so lame.

    The Brewers are actually 3rd place right now, but your point still stands. Veterans are undervalued. Free agency is cheap. The Jays have a young core and payroll flexibility. Seems like a perfect time to take advantage of that. Of course, the Jays need SPs. The more undervalued vets seem to be the hitters. Still should be able to find 2-3 war types on the cheap either way.

    Aside from free agents, there is also trades. We saw pitchers like Roark get traded for nothing in the winter simply because he was arb eligible and expensive. Sonny Gray was another. Ivan Nova is a 2 win SP who was traded for nothing because of his salary. There will be teams out there looking to shed salary, or move a player that is overpaid but still potentially useful. Not sure who would fall under that category this winter. Maybe the Pirates would trade Archer, though he's out with a shoulder issue now so maybe not. There will be pitchers out there on the trade market who a team doesn't want to pay. The Jays should be all over those. Trading for vets is easy now. Doesn't require top prospects.

    I don't care about days off here and there, but literally every game there is a different lineup because Montoyo wants to play everyone regardless of actual talent or upside. Even Vlad's lucky to get 5 games in a 7 game stretch. If you enjoy that, be my guest. I want to see the players with actual upside as much as possible.

    McKinney starting in LF instead of Fisher tonight. Damn, Montoyo's cycle of new players everyday is really annoying.

    Pure guess on my part but it seems like we will know after the minor league season is over.

    Yeah, not sure whether to be worried about the walks, or happy that he's not giving up dingers anymore (only 2 in 26.2 inning since the trade), but either way he's showing improvement.
