    Does anyone really know how much influence Shapiro will have on the baseball team? I mean, I can't see why a team with Mark Shapiro running it would allow Aaron Sanchez to be on a MLB roster let alone make an appearance in a high leverage spot in an elimination game. I'm not convinced the Blue Jays are set up to be healthy on an annual basis yet.

    And I don't like when people throw around the term conspiracy theorist. But it does make you wonder, no? I'm not even mad. When I was younger, I'd get mad if my team lost but now if I want to watch a game I try to just enjoy it for the players and the entertainment it provides. Sure I'd have loved for the Jays and Cubs to win, but it doesn't affect my life if they don't. MLB sells you a baseball game. There is nothing that says they can't influence the powers that be to help out with whatever desired outcome is on tap that night. Look at the NBA. It's fake. I mean, there is serious rigging for certain teams/players. Just google it. And MLB and American football produce $$$$. If there is lots of $$$$ involved, well, we know how the human race is.

    Is one naive to believe that there isn't at least some rigging going on in all pro sports? It happens in other countries, why do people believe North America is immune to it?
