    No excuses. Hank and Hal Steinbrenner will go George Steinbrenner on their front office if the Yanks miss the playoffs again, and Girardi and Cashman are likely to take the fall.

    Someone tell Seattle that you're supposed to score runs... everyone seems to want to hand Toronto a playoff spot, as the Yankees aren't exactly doing themselves any favors either (down 3-1 vs. the Red Sox)

    Not all of those guys will pan out. Cecchini and Webster have potential bust risk. Swihart hasn't reached AAA yet. Eduardo Rodrigeuz was dealt after struggling in AA with the Orioles. Also, many of these guys could be traded as well in future deals (Stanton?)

    Oh give me a break! There's no guarantee Price even gets Detroit to the postseason..Kansas City is only 4 down of the Tigers and surging.

    And I question why Detroit and Oakland gave up MLB talent to get Price and Lester.. they may end hurting their teams short and long term for this. Especially Detroit.. Davis and Carrera in CF sounds awful. And how will Oakland play without Cespedes? Usually without him, Oakland suffered on the field.

    Seattle and Tampa are loving watching the Angels/O's kill their bullpens.. as they are both team's next opponents.

    With the weak competition and question marks with the Yanks and Mariners, it may take less.
