Cespedes would be terrible in Miami in that cavernous ballpark, and I imagine Miami wants CONTROLLABLE (i.e. 5-6 years) high-upside talent in any deal, such as a Joey Gallo, Kris Bryant, Joc Pederson, etc.. and besides, Cespedes isn't doing himself any favours with a sub .300 OBP between Oakland and Boston due to a low batting average and mediocre walk rate, even with his strong defense in the OF. No way Miami takes a downgrade like that.
