He is a kid though so he can easily overcome that....or not. Im of the view the Jays rolled hard to put this line up together and 2013 was a swing and miss. AA needs to roll them again, but an extension is a must. Wont be cheap. Bird in the hand versus 2 in the minors.

The teams confidence is building and we are seeing more smart situational hitting against good pitchers than 2013 (beat the shift twice yesterday).When fence swingers like JB and EE do that once in awhile we know they are locked in. The rotation starts to feel that too. It has a hell of a lot more fun for them. Some speed in 1 and 9 spots and the JF pop against RHP (while it lasts). The TOP 4 DOMs in this line up are going to get lots of attn. around the AL by end of season. They are going to put up monster numbers.

Ya, its early and we still need a rotation upgrade but our O and D is ample. The Dominicans are just raking and it is soooo much more fun than this time last year so Im loving it while it lasts, and hopefully it keeps on rolling. To be where we are after the struggles of the SP and the pen meltdowns is still a shocker to me. Go Jays!
