I'd love to see SMOAK get more ABs but can live with Bello's .900 OPS @ 1st against LHP. He should do less damage there than LF. I remain baffled at Gibby's reluctance to play Smoak more? Go Jays! Bounce back needed.

Amen, its done routinely in baseball with very good players. Barker is painful. I like Reyes offensively and think he can have an important 2nd half for us. But handing out the mantra that Reyes,by mere osmosis, is an offensive juggernaut that supersedes his D issues glosses over the reality of 2015 Reyes. It isn't 2011 and he hasn't been very good at leadoff offensively in 2015( even if one factors out the time played with injury). A 4.5% BB rate?

Voted for all 3 and only these 3 Jays for game. They deserve it. But the more our team drifts back to .500 the less I care about this AS Game. And the interest wasn't high to begin with.

GD, any thoughts on how Lawrie can be putting up -4.5 WAR on D 2015? Unless we missed something he was + 3B as Jay.

My comment was on their cost and not their value. Cheap isn't really helpful if they never make a meaningful impact on an MLB roster or aren't useful in a trade to bring you someone who is. Clearly Beane thought there was a reasonable probability of FV. -

congrats. I don't hate Reyes. He is a player we need to do what he can for us in the 2nd half. At least Reyes owned it and took the E on this chin in post game comment. The one thing we need to do is replace him defensively late when holding tight lead.

This. Not crazy about AA but without him we also probably don't sign Jose B to 5+1 and Edwin to 3+ 1 under market deals. He isn't all bad by any means. -
Reyes fWAR 1.1 Hech fWAR 2.1 Cost not comparable and the best looks like its yet to come with Hech while with Reyes....well that's obvious.

So did Chisox broadcasters... Errors happen but Reyes was awful on everything hit to him tonight. i can live with his s*** range, but he just isn't contributing enough on O to blow routine plays. Cant wait to hear Wilner Baghdad Bob this one. and here we go....brings up Jeter again.

That's f***ing depressing. What a performance by Mark B and our offense didn't put up a lot of runs but great approach with Sale....they hit a lot of balls hard at people. We have to think about D replacement late for Reyes with Goins instead of f***ing playing Goins in LF..its just not going to get better with Reyes.

Listening to Chisox broadcast and they are raving about how the Jays have laid off Sale's slider....I like hearing that. Last few seasons I wouldn't say we have been as selective overall
