    That day was a low for this Board imo...childish all around. And my 16 year old nephew wonders why I don't let him come on this Board to "learn more about ball".

    That's too bad. Way too high expectations from so many for a kid coming off knee with limited MLB SP experience. You have to bring him up and hope this is a blip in recovery.

    Was just looking at all time D WAR on Baseball Reference and Orlando Hudson and Hill have posted some of the top D WARS in Jays history. http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/TOR/leaders_bat.shtml He is very good, I don't think we can say this about Goins just yet.

    Jose is moving up to #1 steadily. We have a Rule 5, and rejects from CINN and PITT on this list. Baseball is a game of suprises. Shawn Green deserves some consideration as a home grown but a lot of his best yrs were LAD. Fernandez always under rated offensively.

    That's not the case. I just think a lot of people are blown away pleasantly surprised at how well Goins has filled in. I think the vast majority on this Board say Travis > Goins.

    Garcia, Hill, Alomar and Orlando Hudson and Goins is THE BEST defensive 2B ever? I have to think about that for awhile. Its a very big statement for Goins.

    Its all one game and one W at a time. Results/standings will take care of themselves. We have more control over our own destiny within the Div. That's who we play. We win the Div I'm happy. We surpass the Royals...assuming they remain in the top spot....I'm happy.

    Just care about winning our division. Will probably come down to that final road trip. *******s is correct on KC. I look forward to our pens trading 97-100 MPH fastballs in the ribs if they have to. It's going to be intense if it happens. I don't think they can intimidate our Jays.
