Funnily enough I was wondering the other day if the changing team with less focus on Jose B and Edwin bothers Bautista. I don't think so. He is a major contributor and enjoying less pressure himself. He wants to win above all else.

Not worried about JPA. We took the "curse of the ex catcher" head on with Gomes and his 2 HRs, and came out with a W thanks to Goins. JPA had an offensive outburst when he first went to Texas too and then became the real JPA soon after. He was in Rolling Rock before long.

Regardless of how those two do it was a fair price for a rental of Price's caliber. Having said that it doesn't bother me when they don't perform well....helps with any sellers remorse!

Love to get J Zimmerman. Same age as Price. Not as expensive and not the term likely. (and not as good). Still solid addition along with Stroman to 2016 rotation. -
He isn't calling them out. He is saying what he expects of himself and others. He said wherever it hasn't happened its been addressed. JD is a stud and wants to win is what I see/read.

WAY ahead of themselves. We have to win the division first before anything else...and the head to head gms with the NYY will likely determine that. Lets see what Stro does when gets the ball up here and go from there.

I do not disagree at all. I never said this has to be STRO did I? This is a kid with 20 MLB starts coming off a major injury with a prolonged hiatus from big league action. If he isn't going to give us the best probability of a W I don't want to see him get the ball. He might get lit up when he comes back. Who knows.

Tell me about it. Im shocked that so many posters have never been a part of what we saw from 85-93 with this team. Or the Expos big years. Its a pleasant surprise and Im glad they have the passion for baseball/Jays. Lets hope they get to enjoy some of what we did in those years. -
All cities have bandwagon fans, and lots of them, in all sports. I welcome each and everyone of them, because it means we are finally f***ing right there where we need to be in Sept for the first time in over 2 decades. Bring em on I say. Maybe some of them will stick around for a long time....maybe not. Don't care. Enjoying the atmosphere now.
