    He does pitch to contact and always gives up a lot of hits, but I don't like how hard the ball is being hit.

    That's so cool Gov. I started taking my boy from Calgary to TOR when he was 4 to watch three game series. He is 7 now. We did 2 years TOR and this yr I took him to Houston for 3 gms....and we just booked for the last home stand against the Rays this year. There is nothing better than taking him to watch it with him, and he loves it even though we are 1-8 in his games so far lol. I find a lot of the Jays are great to the little ones with the balls and autographs.

    I cant stand the thought of Price hitting and/or running the bases tomorrow night. NL - just such an unnecessary risk.

    Its just winning likely, but I'm actually appreciating Gibby more these days. He is steady and doesn't get too up or down. His post game interviews have been pretty funny lately. His pen mgm is my biggest criticism. I also think he is overly "loyal" and sometimes over-manages the line up to give guys ABs/field reps, sacrificing our best potential performance line up. He seems like a decent guy too....Mgr of the Year? No.

    A-Rod has been murdering everything on the outer half. Inside he hasn't been getting to anything and that's where Boxf*** goes. And of course there is Gardner right in the middle of it. 3 games up. Its going down to the end this one.

    On a now deleted GDT some of the posters 'pffttttd" Pillar's CF catch yesterday calling it a "TV dive".     Its an interesting debate. Remember the days when we had Clemens and then Roy Halladay? All we had then was an ace...and Delgado it seemed. That was pre wild card in a stacked AL East, but we just couldn't get over that hump. An ace is awesome as it gives you a better chance to win every 5th day but a strong position player can help you win every day. If we tie too much up in Price, as example, something has to give unless we develop more young talent than we have in decades. Target Tier 2 guys and pray Stro becomes a #1.

    Listening to old Wilner Jays Talk from this week. Why? Because its an off day and I'm desperate and its dead at my office. A sampling of the suggestions and questions of note: "With Tulo out can we play Martin at SS cause he wanted to play there at WBC? That way we can get Navarro's bat in the line up." "Has there ever been a team with 3 guys with more than 100 RBI?" "Can we pitch Stroman on 4 days rest?" "The Jays knew they would lose on Sunday". No wonder Wilner has brain damage.

    ACK....we went into Philly since break on a roll and went 1-1 against their suck ass team. Id be thrilled with 2 out of 3 against ATL.
